While I’m on the topic of art to see on Hvar, I must also mention one of the most beautiful art studios that I’ve ever been in – Marinka’s very creative and inspiring atelier in the village of Dol. This is a place to come to enjoy her art, and that of Marin Ribarić, but also an opportunity to explore your own artistic path, with a very supportive mentor.
Marinka Open Atelier
Marinka Radež paints in watercolours and oils, and her Planet Hvar series is a joyous celebration of the natural fauna and flora of the island, available as original watercolours or high-quality archival prints. In contrast, her series on War and Peace in Sarajevo is a powerful statement of pain and healing.
