It’s so good to see a contemporary art exhibition on Hvar – such powerful artwork, beautifully presented. As part of the Hvar celebrations of 150 years of organized tourism, we have “In the Summer”, selected works from the art collection of Dagmar Meneghello. It’s on at the Gallery Arsenal in Hvar, 27th June to 7th September 2018. So, plenty time to get there and enjoy it!

We went along to the opening reception last week, and were completely blown away by the sheer scale and exuberance of the artwork, just loved it! Even Dagmar’s method of concealing the windows so as not to interrupt the flow was so creative that they deserved their own artist & title labels!
This is just a small selection of the art on show, ones that I particularly enjoyed. Unfortunately, I was so taken up with admiring the art, that I failed to take careful note of the artist name for each piece that I photographed.So if I have mis-attributed any, please let me know!
