Dalmatia Wine Expo 2016 is set for two weekends in late April

Makarska Wine & Fun days – 29/30 April
The website says this will be the largest DWE yet, and is now the largest eno-gastro festival in Dalmatia. ** UPDATE ** The Split expo will be at the Hotel Park this year, and there will be some very informative and entertaining seminars along with the wine-tasting expo. Always hard to find any details of the seminars more than a month or so ahead, but it’s always a good show to learn about Dalmatian wines!
“DWE 2016 in its seventh year will bring together many of the leading producers of wine, food delicacies and olive oil, as well as representatives from the very best restaurants and hotels, top chefs and distinguished people from businesses, politics and the cultural scene. With an even richer program this year, the expo will focus particularly on the business aspects, bringing together more than 100 accredited F & B managers, sommeliers, restaurateurs, caterers, chefs, distributors, exporters and specialized journalists and wine bloggers.”
