I’ve decided I much prefer a rocky shoreline to pebble or shingle beaches. For a start it’s easier on the feet, but also so much more interesting for sketching or painting. I’m sure the ever popular Milna beach is great for families, but the north shore of Glavica gives me a view of Zečevo island, Brač and some wonderful rocky landscape. Not to mention a choice of  natural stone seats in the shade! Here’s a few of my onsite watercolour sketches…

Today we were privileged to be invited to a private house right by the waterside in its own lovely peaceful cove. Absolutely stunning, I could not do it justice, but I gave it a go anyway…
